Happy Aliyah! Program on Again
Happy Aliyah to Israel!

Once again, the homegrown initiative Aliyah B'Simcha - Happy Immigration! - is back in business for English-speakers seeking a warm home in Israel.

Sine 1999, Aliyah B'Simcha (ABS) has brought close to 30 families on direct Aliyah to communities all over the Judea and Samaria (Yesha) region of Israel. The unique ABS method involves a personal pilot trip to one of several towns in Yesha – such as Beit El, Maaleh Levona, Shilo, Psagot, and others - with less of an emphasis on technicalities and more on family-to-family meetings.

This year's pilot trip will be March 8-15, 2009 – the week of Purim. At only $299 per person, the trip features meetings with English-speakers, room and board, an adoptive family, employment seminars, a Purim party and holiday experiences, scenic trips around the area, children’s activities, and more.

The three critical technical issues of Aliyah are directly addressed in ABS pilot trips tailor-designed for each family’s needs: “Where will we live? Where will we work? Where will our children go to school?”

Eric Wiseberg, who founded Aliyah B’Simcha in 1999 and has run it since then, says, “The pilot trip is aimed for two types of families - families who wish to make Direct Aliyah by the summer of 2009, and English-speaking families already living in Israel who wish to move to a family-oriented religious community in the heartland of Israel.”

Under certain circumstances, participants can qualify for air fare refunds. For more information, click here and/or send email to aliyabsimcha@gmail.com
