Thousands of people participated Tuesday in a special prayer rally at the Western Wall for the safety of IDF soldiers in Gaza and residents of the south, and for the release of Jonathan Pollard from a U.S. prison. Tuesday, the tenth of the Hebrew month of Tevet, is a minor fast day in the Jewish calendar and a traditional day on which to recite supplications.
